When we Got Started
Boston Bags & Tags opened it’s retail location in October of 2006. Prior to having a retail brick and mortar storefront, we sold handbags, jewelry, etc. out of a spare bedroom, trunk of the car or sometimes right off of our arm. We started our first retail location in Winterville, NC but have since moved to Greenville, NC.
How we Got our Name
We are not from Boston but we love Boston Terriers and that was the inspiration for the name, our original Boston Terrier, Gordie. We started out making handmade purses and they were called “Boston Bags”. Over the years we have evolved into many types of items such as custom tee shirts, license plates and key rings, but we always love monograms.
Some of our most popular ways to personalize items are with embroidery, regular vinyl and heat transfer vinyl. We do offer many monogrammed gifts including wedding and baby gifts. We believe everything is better with a monogram and that personalized gifts always make the best gifts. Thank you for shopping with us.
